Prodisee Pantry Receives Operation Round Up Grant

The shelves of Prodisee Pantry in Spanish Fort will be seeing new stock soon thanks to the Baldwin Electric Membership Charitable Foundation. The organization recently received a grant from the foundation in support of their efforts to provide “love, hope and comfort through food” in Baldwin County.
The donation was made possible through Baldwin EMC’s Operation Round Up program, which collects money for charitable causes by rounding up participating members’ electric bills to the next highest dollar amount, with the extra change used to fund grants. The purpose of the grants must fall into one of six qualifying categories: food, shelter, healthcare, clothing, education or the environment.
Making the grant presentation are: (back row, left to right) Foundation Board Members Johnny Chason, Caren Davis, Stan Moss, Carol Walker and Kay Gartman; (middle row) Board Members Janis Helton, Betty Mullek, and Toni Turner (front row) Board Chairman Katie Warren and Prodisee Pantry Executive Director Deann Servos.
More information about Baldwin EMC’s Operation Round Up program can be found on the Operation Round Up page.
