Baldwin EMC representatives recently surprised six families with the news that they were chosen as the winners of Baldwin EMC’s “Oldest Water Heater Ever” contest.
The winners are Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bell of Bay Minette, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Bourgeouis of Gulf Shores, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lynch of Gulf Shores, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Maddox of Robertsdale, Mrs. and Mrs. H.J. Wiggins of Uriah and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Wing of Loxley.
Each winner will receive a brand new, state-of-the-art heat pump water heater that will be twice as efficient as a standard water heater. The six were chosen from among more than 200 contest entries following an application process and inspection of their existing water heater. The new water heaters will replace models that are anywhere from 20 to 50 years old.
