Four Local Students Selected for Baldwin EMC Youth Tour

Four local high school juniors were recently chosen to represent Baldwin EMC as part of the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour. They are Weesie Jeffords from Daphne High School, Olivia Melton from Gulf Shores High School, Travis Eubanks from Robertsdale High School and Kevin Travis from Spanish Fort High School.
Employees from the cooperative surprised the students with the good news at their respective schools on Friday, January 13.
These students will participate in all expense paid trips to Montgomery, Ala. in March and Washington, D.C. in June. The trips will provide an up close look at the inner workings of our state and national capitals, along with visits to historical sites and interactions with local and national legislators.
The teacher or counselor of each selected student will receive classroom supplies for serving as faculty sponsors.
